Cornish Heritage Farms Red & White Challenge
When I saw that the challenge was red and white, the first thing that came to mind was Christmas! I decided to make this cute little Christmas tree that can be used as a card, tag, or an ornament on a tree. I have this cute stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farm called The Night Before Christmas (part of The Rummage Bin line). It has just been re-released by Cornish Heritage Farms.
The Christmas tree shape is made using Spellbinders Nested Pine Trees die. I folded the paper, moved the folded line down inside the die so that it would not be cut and I would have a folded card. Then I die cut another tree to put on top. This way I keep the tree shape and do not have a cut off point.
Before stamping image, I wiped the paper with an
anti-static bag. When you use this little bag, the embossing powder will only stick to the stamped image (glitter only sticks where it is supposed to as well). I then used Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and Hampton Art White Embossing Powder. To give the card a little bling, I used Martha Stewart Glitter. I glittered the edge of the tree in green and the star in clear and silver.

Materials used are: TPC (red cardstock), Cornish Heritage Farms (Night Before Christmas), Clearsnap (Glue Gloss), Martha Stewart (Glitter Set), Hampton Art (White Embossing Powder), Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad, Ranger/Jenni Bowlin Cough Syrup Dye Ink Pad, Spellbinders Stars Five, Spellbinders Nested Pine Trees, Recollections Anti-Static Bag.
I am also entering this card in STAMP n doodle Anything Goes Challenge.
Thank you for visiting my blog and checking out my entry in the Cornish Heritage Farms Red & White Challenge.
