So I came up with this cute, masculine get well card called "Felling Yucky"!
This is the sentiment inside the card.
This is a close-up of the front of the card. I used a cute button and blue floss.
This is a great image from Cornish Heritage Farms (Saturday Evening Post - Common Cold). The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets. I used Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Eight for the shape of the card. I just love this new shape. I purchased it from Molly's Square. Great place to get the latest die cuts and stamps at low prices. Each day they have a different item for sale. Other items used: Plaid Background Paper (Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman), Solid Indigo Cardstock (DCWV), Light Blue Paper (Webster's Pages), Brown Button (Jenni Bowlin), Blue Floss #930 (DMC), Score Board (Martha Stewart), Adhesive (E-Z Runner by Scrapbook Adhesives), Ranger Gathered Twig Distress Ink, and Ranger Coffee Archival Ink.
"Feeling Yucky" is an easy card to make. I love making shaped cards and Spellbinders make it an easy process. Since I like to keep the top of the card shape, I die cut the card in two pieces and then score the bottom piece with my Martha Stewart Score Board. I inked the edges of each piece. This allows the pieces to stand out. Gives them dimension.
Thank you for visiting and have a great weekend!
Kris
