Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge

Cornish Heritage Farms current challenge is to create a project using a CHF image (digital or rubber stamp) using Autumn/Halloween Colors.  I decided to use a digital image.  I am very, very new to digital stamps so I used the enlarge and print method this time.  I am working up to making a scene with several images.  Books are a wonderful thing.  You can learn almost anything with the right book!

I printed out the image on paper (loved the color) and then die cut the image with Spellbinders Grand Labels One.  I used K&Company's fall plaid for the background paper (also die cut using Grand Labels One).   I added D rings to the paper to attach raffia.  I added Tim Holtz' metal leaf to the bottom.

I attached a leaf from K&Company.

I love the look of this paper.

Thank you for visiting and checking out my cute little scarecrow hanging.  Have a great Sunday!

Gibson Girl Card

One of my favorite stamp companies is Flonz Craft. They are based in New Zealand and make the most beautiful stamps. Many victorian, gibson girl, and 19th century images plus so much more. You can order from Flonz Craft's site or on Ebay. There shipping time is very fast and the stamps are of great quality.

I love the brown, beiges, and copper colors in this paper.  There are lovely swirls and french text in script.

I distress the edges of the paper and then inked them with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.

I then added stitching.

Alice Inspired Challenge - White Rabbit

Moving Along with the Times has issued an Alice Inspired Challenge.  I have acquired quite a collection of Alice and Wonderland stamps over the last few years.  Some of my favorites are from Kaycee Crafts in England  (unfortunately, this company had to close recently due to illness).  Another source of great Alice and Wonderland stamps is Red Eowyn (RedEowyn.com).  Here is "I'm Late, I'm Late"!
