Artistic Outpost

Artistic Outpost is having its monthly Referral Program.  Anything Goes is the theme.  That makes it easy and hard!  I created a card using Artistic Outpost My Favorite Book Stamp Set.  I am an avid reader so I love stamps that involve reading and books.

I had fun with this card.  If you read Somerset Studio, you will recognize the background paper.

If you get a chance go to Artistic Outpost and check out their blog.  They have daily posts with inspiration from their design team.  Another great blog and stamp company is Paper Sweeties.  They have the cutest stamps.  It is like having rubber stamp paper dolls!  So much fun.  Paper Sweeties just reached 500 "likes" on Facebook and is trying to read 555!  If you like Paper Sweeties stamps, give them a like and enter the contest to win a $50 Gift Certificate!

Thank you for visiting and have a great weekend!

P.S. - If you see anything double underlined, it is not me.  It is blogger.

Cornish Heritage Farms Sketch Challenge

Cornish Heritage Farms newest challenge is a sketch challenge.  I used one of my favorite CHF Stamps "Tulip Girl".

Instead of a plain octagon, I used a Spellbinders Large Scalloped Octagons.  For the oval, I used Spellbinders Labels Ten.  Instead of the strip of paper across the bottom of the page, I used brown and white twine.  I then used Tim Holtz' Alterations Tattered Banners.  I added a cute little dragonfly charm to the twine.

Thank you for visiting and happy crafting!

Paper Sweeties Sketch Challenge

Paper Sweeties is having a sketch challenge.  Paper Sweeties has the cutest stamps.  There are three cute little ladies (Emma, Abigail, and Sophie) and one fella (Jake).  There is a also a cute stand (that has different add-on stamps and a wagon with additional add-on stamps).  I purchased Emma and some cute outfits for her from the Sweeties Boutique.

Doesn't Emma look cute in her little cowgirl outfit?  Instead of a square piece of paper, I stitched a square for that part of the sketch.  The paper I used is from K&Company.  I stamped the outsift onto paper and then cut it out.  I added lace onto the bottom of her skirt.  Red Dresden stars are on the bottom of the card.

Cute!  I stamped this inside card!

Can you tell I was feeling Americana?  Please take time to visit Paper Sweeties.  I think you will love these wonderful stamps as much as I do.  Paper Sweeties is  also on Facebook.  Debbie Marcinkiewicz (owner of Paper Sweeties) is trying to get over 555 "likes".  Thank you for visiting and have a great week!

Cornish Heritage Farms (CHF) Challenge

Cornish Heritage Farms (CHF) current challenge is no red/green.  I embossed this great ledger paper from K&Company and then stamped this cute image.  Reminds me of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  I then added some twine, a crocheted flower, and a little sentiment flag.  Thank you for visiting and have a great week.

Crafty Secrets Linky Party

Crafty Secrets is having their monthly linky party.  Here is a little tag I made using images from their CD's.

I printed out a cute paper that feautred the three little kittens.  I then cut it into a tag shape using the Tim Holtz tag die.  I attached French General ribbon down the right side of the tag.   I then took cute images of books (Crafty Secrets), cut them out, and attached to the tag.  I also stamped "Story Time" on the tag (from Crafty Secrets).  I also inked all the edges.

Thank you for joining me.  Please check out the Crafty Secrets blog and have a nice week!

Crafty Secrets January Linky Party

It's that time again!  Crafty Secrets is hosting its monthly linky party.  This month I created a cute little sign/picture.

I have been playing with some of their CD's and found this cute little girl looking out the window.  I then added the kids playing outside (Crafty Secrets Stamp),  I embellished with pearls, glitter, snowflake brads, and ribbon.  I also added the dangling snowflake rossette (Tim Holtz).

Thank you for joining me and make sure to check out the other wonderful entries in the Crafty Secrets January Linky Party.
